 街の中心に到着。ここからちょっと街歩き。シグナギの哲学者、「Solomon Dodashvili（1805年5月17日生-1836年8月20日没）の像です。
We arrived at the center of the town. We began a town walk from here. It's a statue of "Solomon Dodashvili(May 17, 1805 - August 20, 1836)", Philosopher in Sighnaghi. |

 13世紀に造られた市壁が街を囲んでいます。市壁は20の塔を持ち、ここはそのひとつ。
The city wall, built in the 13th century, surrounds the town. The wall has over 20 towers and it's one of them. |

 見張り台に上ると城壁が見えます。「万里の長城」みたい。

 「市庁舎」
街の中でいちばん大きな建物だと思います。なぜシグナギは愛の街と呼ばれるかと言うと多くのカップルが結婚のためにここを訪れ、いつでも結婚できるからです。シグナギの結婚受付は年中無休、24時間営業です。
"Town Hall"
I think it's the biggest building in the town. In case you've been wondering why, Sighnaghi is the city of love because couples come here to get married and can get married in Sighnaghi any day of the week at any time of day. The Sighnaghi Wedding House is open seven days a week and 24 hours a day. |

 「チュルチュヘラ」
ジョージアの蝋燭状のキャンディで保存食。材料はグレープジュース、ナッツ、小麦粉です。アーモンド、胡桃、チョコレート、時にはレーズンを糸に通し、小麦粉と一緒に煮詰めたグレープジュースまたはフルーツジュースに漬けてソーセージ状の形に乾かします。
"Churchkhela"
It is a traditional Georgian candle-shaped candy and preserved food. The main ingredients are grape must, nuts and flour. Almonds, walnuts, hazelnut and chocolate and sometimes raisins are threaded onto a string, dipped in grape juice or fruit juices thickened with flour and dried in the shape of a sausage. |

 ワイン発祥の国ジョージア。ワイナリーへ行くのも楽しみのひとつ。ジョージア伝統の素焼きの壺で作られています。その壺はどこにあるかというと、土の中！！ここは同じ製法を300年間守っている「ノダリ・ワイン・セラー」です。
Georgia, the place of wine's birth. A winery visit is one of the pleasure. Wine is made using an unglazed pot. Pots are buried in the ground. This winery is "Nodari wine cellar" which protects the same recipe for 300 years. |

 土間にある丸い物が壺のふた。「踏まないでねー」って言われます。今まで見てきたワイナリーとは作り方が全く違います。ジョージアンワイン、すごいね。
Round objects on an earth foor are covers of the pot. We were said 'Don't step, please". The recipe of wine is completely different from wineries' which we have visited before. Georgian wine is amazing. |

 で、試飲をするときはふたを持ち上げて、ピッチャーを素手でドボンと壺の中にいれてくみ上げます。すごいねぇ。
When we try wine, a staff lifts a cover, puts a ewer into the pot with bare hand and draws wine. I was suprised. |

 「試飲」なんだけど、もっといるか？いるか？って聞かれてどんどん飲めちゃう。ちょっと塩気のあるジョージアン・ブレッドを片手におかわりありの試飲中。
Though it was just a "try", we could drink as much as we want because a master asked us is we want more and more. He was under try with some salted Georgian bread. |

 こちらのご家庭も観光客を受けれているようで、お庭にテーブルの準備ができていました。日陰を作っているのはぶどうだな。

 こちらのご家庭もジョージアン・ワインを作っているそうです。
左から白ワイン、赤ワイン、ブランディ。ジョージアの白ワインはぶどうの皮も一緒にいれて作るのでタンニンが多く含まれいて、白ワインもかなり色がついています。
I hear this family produces Georgian wine as well.

 裏庭には養蜂箱が。蜂蜜も味見させてもらいました。さっぱりしておいしい蜂蜜でした。

 私も分けてもらいました。でっかいメロン！これ、ホテルの冷蔵庫にいれてよーく冷やして食べました。めちゃくちゃジューシーで甘かったー
I bought a melon in spite of myself. A big melon. I cooled a melon with a refrigerator and ate it. Very juicy and sweet. |

 途中、わき水をたくさんの人がくんでいたので私たちもペットボトルに。みんなでっかいポリタンクを持ってきているのに５００ミリリットルのペットボトルを持って並んでいたので「おまえはそんな小さいのか、じゃあ、先に入れなよー」と順番を譲ってもらいました。
Many people drew a spring on the way, so we drew it into a plastic bottle. We got in that queue with 500ml plastic bottle, though everyone did with a big polyethylene tank. As a result, we were said "You have only such a small one. OK, put it before me." and given an order. |

 「ドルマ」
挽肉をぶどうの葉で包んだ料理です。ちょっと変わった風味がついて、おいしいです。もちろんこれに大好きな「ヒンカリ」もオーダーしました。
