We were walking around in Tbilisi today.
Firstly we found 2 middle-aged men.
Though Junko mentioned a rude thing, actually they are statues of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. |

 「国会議事堂」
2012年に国会はジョージア2番目の都市、クタイシに移りました。しかし翌年の建物修復の後、議会はこの場所に戻ってきました。

 「カシュエティ教会」
1904年から10年にかけて建てられました。「カシュエティ」はジョージア語の「石」と「誕生」に由来しています。伝説によれば6世紀の有名な修道士、ダヴィド・ガレジはトビリシで女性を妊娠させたと告発されました。ダヴィドは彼の無実は彼女が石を生んだ時に証明されると予言しました。彼女は実際にそうしたため、この場所は「カシュエティ」と名付けられました。
"Kashveti Church"
It was constructed between 1904 and 1910. The name "kashveti" is derived from Georgian words kva for a "stone" and shva "to give birth." Legend has it the prominent 6th century monk David of Gareja was accused by a woman of making her a pregnant in Tbilisi. David prophesied his denial would be proved when she gave birth to a stone. She did, and the place received the name of "kashveti." |

 「革命広場」を通り、クラ川を渡って「Alexander Griboedov広場」でちょっと休憩。「Alexander Griboedov」の像。彼（1795年1月15日生-1829年2月11日没）はロシアの駐ペルシャ大使でしたが、Transcaucasiaと北コーカサスの一部から成るペルシャの北部領土割譲を強制的に批准させたGulistan条約(1813)とTurkmenchay条約 (1828)の押し付けによって生じた激しい反ロシア感情の結果、怒れる暴徒によって他の大使館員共々殺害されました。
We went thorugh "Revolution Square", crossed Kura river and took a shoet rest at "Alexander Griboedov square". It's a statue of "Alexander Griboedov". He (15 January 1795 - 11 February 1829) was Russia's ambassador to Qajar Persia, where he and all the embassy staff were massacred by an angry mob as a result of the rampant anti-Russian sentiment that existed through Russia's imposing of the Treaty of Gulistan (1813) and Treaty of Turkmenchay (1828), which had forcefully ratified for Persia's ceding of its northern territories comprising Transcaucasia and parts of the North Caucasus. |

 さらに川沿いを歩いていい時間になったのでランチです。
「バクラジャーン アレーハミ」
なすをスライスして焼いたなすでくるみのペーストを巻いてザクロの実をのせて食べます。とてもおいしいです。
We were walking along the river and it was the time to lunch. We visited "Tiflis".
"Nigvziani badrijani"
Sliced eggplants stuffed with walnut paste. We eat it with pomegranates. It is amazing. |

 最終日なので「ヒンカリ」も。ここは1コ単位で注文できたのでチーズとマッシュルームと挽肉を二つずつ。
We ordered "Khinkali" because it was the last day of the trip. We ordered 2 pieces of cheese, mushroom and miced meat because we could do by a piece. |

Unpublished at the time of his death, aged 26, his poetry did not receive its deserved recognition until later in the 19th century when he became idolized as a great Romanticist poet. He was referred to as the "Georgian Byron. The road rises from here. |

 街角で踊っている人発見！一緒に楽しみました。彼らはBerikaoba・フォーク・ダンサーの像です。Berikaobaは多産と再生を願う異教徒の祭りから由来したジョージアの即興民族仮面劇です。
He found people who were dancing on the corner of the town. He enjoyed together. They are a statue of Berikaoba folk dancers. Berikaoba is an improvised masqueraded folk theatre in Georgia, stemming from the pagan festivity of fertility and rebirth. |

2011年にリニューアルした美術館。ジョージアの国民的画家「ニコ・ピロスマニ」の作品をみに来ました。美術館は1920年に設立されています。美術館の建物そのものはロシア皇帝の意志で1888年に建てられました。建物は各植民地に対するロシア帝国の権力のショーケースを意図した栄光の神殿として知られるロシアの軍事・歴史博物館でした。

The museum was renovated in 2011. We came here to see works of "Niko Pirosmanashvili", Georgian national painter. The museum was established in 1920. The gallery itself was built based on a resolution from Russian tsar in 1888. The building was originally allocated as a Russian military and historic museum, known as the Temple of Glory, intended to showcase the power of the Russian Empire in its colonies. |

美術館の裏手は大きな公園になっていました。これは20世紀ジョージアの画家、グラフィック・アーチスト、劇場美術監督の「Elene Akhvlediani」（1898年生-1975年没）の像です。

 お夕飯まで少し時間があるので公園をぶらぶら。
「国立博物館」にも行ったのですが、写真が撮れませんでした。とても見応えのある博物館でした。ガイドツアーだったので興味深く見学できました。
We took a walk in the park because we had time to dinner.
We visited "Museumof Georgia", but photos were not allowed in the museum. It was worth visiting. We were able to listen to a lot of very interesting stories because we joined a guided tour. |

形から「マッシュルーム・ハウス」と呼ばれているそうです。
トビリシではワンストップ行政サービスが用意されており、写真撮影から書類申請、受け取りまで同じ場所で行うことができます。いろんな行政サービスがここに集約されていて、しかもよる遅くまで開いていました。2010年から12年にかけて建てられました。

One stop administrative services is ready in Tbilisi and photography, the application and receiving of documents are possible at the same window. Various administrative services are gathered here and it opens till late at night. It was built between 2010 and 2012. |
