 もうすぐ本帰国されるお友だちのリクエストでディナンへ遊びに来ました。
We came to Dinant to meet the request of my friend who will return to Japan permanently soon.

 「シタデル」
山の上のシタデルへはロープウエイで上るつもりでしたが、運休中でした。お友だちは16世紀に造られた階段を上ってシタデルへ。私ともう一人のお友だちは下で待つことに。いってらっしゃーい。
"The Citadel"
We intended to climb the citadel on the mountain by the rope way, but it was suspended. A friend went up to the citadel on stairs which was created in the 16th century. Another friend and I decided to wait for her at the bottom. Take care. |

ソファに座ってゆっくり。
We found a nice cafe of Leonidas along the Meuse.

 ディナンは1840年代初期にサックスを生んだ（特許取得は1846年）「アルフレッドサックス」さんの生まれ故郷です。ベンチにすわっているのが「サックス」さん。
Dinant is the birthplace of "Adolphe Sax" who invented the saxophone in the early 1840s (patented in 1846). The gentleman who sits on the bench is "Mr. Sax". |

 「ノートルダム大聖堂」
13世紀の創立で、16世紀バロック式の鐘楼は今世紀初頭に復元されました。ステンドグラスが美しい大聖堂です。
"The Collegiate Church of Our Lady"
Built in the 13th century and the belfry in the Baroque style of the 16th century was rebuilt in the early of the 20th century. It has beautiful stained glass windows. |

蜂蜜と小麦粉だけで作った堅焼きクッキー「クック・ド・ディナン」を売るお店。
"Maison Jacobs"
The store sells extremely hard, sweet biscuit, "Couque de Dinant" which are made with only two ingredients: wheat flour and honey in equal amounts by weight, and nothing else at all, not even water or yeast. |
