 ドイツのボンに行ってきました。
まずは「ベートーベン・ハウス」。家は1770年ごろ建てられました。1770年12月16か17日におそらく小さな屋根裏部屋のひとつで赤ん坊が生まれました。子供は有名な宮廷楽団の指揮者、歌手、ワイン商人でもあった祖父（1712年生-1773年没）にちなんでルードヴィッヒ・ヴァン・ベートーベンと名付けられました。
We visited Bonn in Germany.
First of all, it's "Beethoven House". The house was erected around 1700. It was probably in one of the tiny attic chambers that a baby was born on 16 or 17 December 1770. The child was named after his grandfather Ludwig van Beethoven (1712-1773), a reputable court bandmaster, singer and wine merchant. |

An admission ticket. The museum was founded in 1889, it studies the life and work of composer Ludwig van Beethoven. |

 表はピンクの建物、中庭からみるとこんな色。
When we look atbthe house from the front, it's a pink building. And when we do from the courtyard, it has such a colour.

 1686年から1717年にかけて建設され、「ベートーベン・ハウス」の横にありました。第2次大戦の末期に教会は連合軍の空襲で大きく傷つきました。再建は1954年に完成しています。
It was built between 1686 and 1717 and was located next to 'Beethoven House". At the end of the Second World War, the church was heavily damaged by air raids of the Allied Forces. The reconstruction was completed in 1954. |

 「マルクト広場」に到着。
「市庁舎」（右側）が見えます。1737年に完成したドイツ・ロココ様式の代表的な例です。
We arrived at "Marketplace".
Old Town Hall (Altes Rathaus)is seen at the right side. Completed in 1737, it is a magnificent example of German rococo. |

 ドイツに来たらソーセージを食べなきゃいけない気になります。炭火で焼いている大きなソーセージをパンにはさんで3ユーロ。焼きたて、おいしいです。
Whenever I come to Germany, I feel I have to eat a sausage. A hot dog with a charbroiled big sausage is 3 Euros. Fresh made one is excellent.

 大きな「ベートーベン」の銅像が立っています。1845年8月12日にこの作曲家の生誕75周年を記念して公開されました。かつての街の宮殿で1751年から53年にかけて建てられた中央郵便局（またはFurstenberg宮殿）の黄色い建物が像の後ろに見えます。1877年から2008年まで街の主要な郵便局でしたが現在は郵便銀行の財政センターであり、郵便局並びにDHLのサービスセンターとなっています。
A large bronze statue of "Ludwig van Beethoven" stands there. It was unveiled on 12 August 1845, in honour of the 75th anniversary of the composer's birth. The yellow building of main post office (also Furstenberg Palace), which is a former city palace and was built from 1751 to 1753 is seen behind the satue. It was from 1877 to 2008 main post office of the city and is a Postbank financial center as well as service areas of Deutsche Post and DHL now. |

 2世紀には現在教会が建っている場所にローマの小さな墓地が存在していました。修復作業中で中には入れませんでした。
A small Roman necropolis existed in the 2nd century at the place where the church was later built. We coud not enter there due to the renovation. |

 聖Cassiusと聖Florentiusの首の彫刻。聖Cassiusと聖Florentiusはローマ軍における伝説的なキリスト教徒のみで構成されたテーベ軍団の兵士でした。伝説では彼らはミュンスター寺院の現在の場所で宗教的信念のために斬首されました。
Sculptures depicting the heads of Saints Cassius & Florentius. Saints Cassius and Florentius were Roman legionaries of the legendary all-Christian Theban Legion. According to legend, they were beheaded for their religious beliefs at the present location of the Bonn Minster. |

 選帝侯宮殿はかつてケルン選帝侯の住居でした。1818年からボン大学の本館となっています。1697年から1705年に建てられました。かしこそー。実際、有名な生徒と教職員には7人のノーベル賞、3人のフィールズ賞、12人のゴットフリート・ヴィルヘルム・ライプニッツ賞受賞者やアルバート公（エリザベス女王の夫）、法王ベネディクト16世、ドイツ皇帝フレデリック3世、カール・マルクス、詩人ハイネ、哲学者ニーチェ、西ドイツ首相アデナウアー、経済学者シュンペーターがいます。
The Electoral Palace is the former residential palace of the Prince-Electors of Cologne. Since 1818, it has been the University of Bonn's main building. It was built from 1697 to 1705. It seems to be smart. Acutually among its notable alumni and faculty are seven Nobel Laureates, three Fields Medalist, twelve Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize winners, Prince Albert, Pope Benedict XVI, Frederick III, Karl Marx, Heinrich Heine, Friedrich Nietzsche, Konrad Adenauer, and Joseph Schumpeter. |
