 コミューンでの用を済ませ、中央駅付近へ。IDもなくなって住む家もなくなってすっかり観光客になりました。中央駅ちかくの「スペイン広場」を通って…。広場にはスペイン文学の有名な登場人物、ドン・キホーテとサンチョ・パンサの像があります。ブリュッセルは1989年におけるスペインのEC総裁就任の贈り物として像を贈っています。これはマドリードのスペイン広場にある像のほぼ正確なコピーです。
We left the commune and headed for the central station. We had no ID and a house to live. We became tourists absolutely. We went through "Spain Square" near the central station. The square holds a statue of two famous figures from Spanish literature: Don Quixote and Sancho Panza. Brussels gave Spain the sculpture as a gift after the Spanish Presidency of the European Community in 1989. It is an almost exact copy of the statue that stands on Spain Square in Madrid. |

 はしの上から「聖マリア教会」を背にして見るとこんな感じ。
角のカナルクルーズ乗り場からよく乗りました。ここがいちばん空いていて、運河の角や橋が近くて写真も撮りやすい乗り場でした。
なによりここからの景色がいちばんすきだったー

It is the most uncrowded point and we can take a nice photo easily because it is close to the corner of the canal and the bridge. In addition, the scenery from here was my most favorite one. |

 「ベギン会院」。
ブルージュは旧市街全体が世界遺産に登録されていますが、ここはこれで世界遺産です。こんなにブルージュに来るとは思わなかった−。毎回その美しさを楽しみました。レースを始めてからはまた違う楽しみもあり、何度訪ねても毎回新しい楽しみを見つけることができました。今日が最後。楽しかったです。
"Begijnhof"
The historic city centre of Bruges is a World Heritage Site of UNESCO and Begijnhof Brugge alone as well. I did not think I come here so many times. I enjoyed the beauty of the town every time. Whenever I visited here, I could find a new pleasure. This time is the last visit. I had fun. |

渡白当時は修復中で覆いが掛けられていました。ここにある「神秘の仔羊」も修復に長い時間がかかっています。外観と絵が見られてよかったですー

 「魚市場」があった広場へ。「魚広場」は観光案内所になっています。
ゲントは地図やウオーキングマップが充実。しかも無料でもらえました。観光所のスタッフはとても親切でいろいろ教えてもらいました。
ここの前からトラムに乗ってそろそろ帰るよ。
We came to the square with "Oude Vismarkt". "Oude Vismarkt" is used as a tourist information centre. Normal maps and walking maps are substantial in Ghent and they are free. Staff of the tourist information were very kind and they gave us a many good information. We rode a tram from this square and went home soon. |

外はこんな感じだけど、中はとても近代的な駅です。
駅は来た当時から改築していてしょっちゅうホームが変わりました。
5年経ったいまも工事は続いていますが…かなり出来てきた方。
できあがりが見られず、残念です。

When I came here for the first time, it was under restoration and the platform where I got on a train often changed. As for now when 5 years passed, it is under restoration, but it considerably gets closer to completion. Unfortunately I will not able to see its completion. |

これに乗ってルードビークまで。ルードビークからはバスに乗ってホテルへ。
Tram "8th line" was under construction foe a long time. It was just inaugurated in October and connects Louise and Roodebeek.
We went to Roodebeek by it. We went back to the hotel from Roodebeek by bus. |
