It's one of Chimay series. Historically not sold in the commerce. Only available at Auberge de Poteaupre, Chimay, as "Speciale De Poteaupre". I drank this local beer in Malta. It's aproduct of Simonds Farsons Cisk. Cisk was launched in Malta in 1928. Clear golden colored with a small white head. Aroma is lightly sweet with malt, hay. Taste is light but bitter. Overall, a regular lager for a sunny day. Alcohol percentage is 4.2%. |
