 ネット予約をしていないので朝が勝負。メトロで到着。列ができ始めたところで並べました。狙い通りオープン同時に入場できました。普通はチケット購入に１時間、入場まで一時間待ちなんだそうです。ここは神聖ローマ皇帝マティアスが狩猟時に美しい（schon）泉（Brunn）を発見したためにシェーンブルンと命名したと伝えられています。
Morning was the moment that will decide our fate because we didn't have internet bookings. We arrived here by a Metro. We were able to line up before there was a long line. As planned, we were able to enter it for the opening time. Usually people wait for 1 hour to buy tickets and 1 hour to enter the palace. It is said that it was named Schonbrunn by Holy Roman Emperor Matthias because he found a beautiful（schon）fountain（Brunn）when he went hunting. |

 チケットはいろんな種類があって、今回は「クラシック・パス」。所要時間３〜４時間のチケットです。たいてい４時間ぐらいで疲れちゃうのでこれで十分。外壁は金を塗ろうとしたところ、マリア・テレジアが財政の状況を考慮し、黄金に近い黄色にしました。これをテレジア・イエローと言いますが、彼女が好んでいた色というわけではありません。
The ticket has various kinds and we bought "classic pass" this time. the necessary time of this ticket is 3-4 hours. We thought it was enough because we ususally would be tired for about 4 hours. Tough there was a plan that outside walls were covered with gold, Maria Theresia considered the financial situation and changed from gold to yellow paint close to gold. This colour is called "Theresia yellow", but it's not the colour she liked. |

 宮殿内の見学が終わったら庭へ。宮殿内は写真撮影禁止です。宮殿は観光客に公開されている2階部分を除いた居室が、文化財管理公社によって賃貸住宅として一般に貸し出されていて、住民がいます。現在では居住に不便な部分も多数あるといわれ、ウイーン市民にとっての住宅物件としての人気は低いらしいです。2LDKで100m2、家賃は日本円で4万7千円。
When we finished seeing the inside of the palace, we went to the garden. We are prohibited taking pictures of the inside. Living rooms of the palace, except the second floor part which is opened to tourists, are loaned out to citizens as a lease house by the Cultural assets management public corporation. There are residents here. Now I here there are a lot of parts which are inconvenient for the residence and the popularity as the house article is low for people of Vienna. The area of the house is 100m2. 2 bedrooms and dining room. A rent is about 47,000 Japanese yen. |

 展望テラス「グロリエッテ」まで歩きます。
グロリエッテは対プロイセン戦の勝利と戦没者の慰霊の為に立てたギリシャ建築の記念碑(未完成)があり、ここからは周囲が一望できます。
We walk to "Gloriette" of a view terrace.
Gloriette is the Greece style monument(unfinish) for the victory of the war with Prussia and memorial service of the war dead. It provides panoramic views of the city. |

 「グロリエッテ」から宮殿を見ているところです。
この宮殿は一度1683年の第2次ウィーン包囲に際し、オスマン帝国軍により破壊されています。その後1693年にレオポルト1世が狩猟用の別荘を建て、歴代の皇帝らが増築・造作を行い、1740から50年代のマリア・テレジアの時代に完成されました。

This palace was once destroyed by the Military of the Ottoman Empire on the occasion of the second Vienna siege of 1683. After that Leopold I built a villa for hunting in 1693, the successive emperors renovated it. It was completed in the times of Maria Theresa in 1740—50s. |

 「グロリエッテ」から市街地を望む。
有名な話としてマリア・テレジアの娘マリー・アントワネットがここに滞在している時、6歳の神童モーツァルトが招待されました。この時宮殿内で転んだモーツァルトをマリー・アントワネットが助け起こしたところ、モーツァルトが「僕と結婚して」とプロポーズした、という伝説があります。

 宮殿がこんな感じに見えます。「クラシック・パス」は「グロリエッテ」の入場料込みのチケットですが、ここのチケットを買うと３ユーロ。今は一部がホテルにもなっています。宿泊料金は１人当たり１泊６９９ユーロ（約１０万円）から。部屋にはベッドルーム２つとキッチン、ダイニングルームがあり、４人が泊まれます。追加料金を払えば執事やシェフをつけることもできるらしいです。
We can see the palace from here like this. Though "Classic pass" is the ticket which includes the entrance fee of "Gloriette", if you buy ticket only for here, it's 3 euro. Now a part of the palace becomes a hotel. The hotel charges are from 699 euros per one a night (About 100,000yen). The room has 2 bedrooms, kitchen and dining room and 4 people can stay there. If you pay additional charge, I hear you can put the butler or shef. |

 宮殿の動物園。
この動物園は1752年フランツ1世によって宮殿脇に設置された世界最古の動物園です。ジャイアントパンダもいますが、時間がなくて今回は入園せず。

 馬車もかっこいいね。だいたいこういうところの馬車は高いので乗ったことがない。だから料金も知らないが、調べたら独占して乗ると２０分で40ユーロもするらしい。乗合なら一人4ユーロとのことです。
I think a carriage is also nice. We haven't ridden in it because generally carriages of such a place are expensive. Therefore we don't know the fare. When I check it, the fare in the case that we got in only us is 40 euro for 20 minutes and riding together is 4 euro/person. |
