 ブリュッセルにもどって観光の続き。大聖堂から国会議事堂、ブリュッセル公園をぬけて「王宮」へ。このあと「芸術の丘」から「王立美術館」を通り、「サブロン広場」「アップルストア」です。
We came back to Brussels and continued the sightseeing. We saw "Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula", "Brussels Parliament building" and "Royal Palace of Brussels". After those, we were going to "Mont des Arts", "Royal Museums of Fine Arts", "Place du Grand Sablon" and "Apple store". |

 ゲントへ向かう電車を待つ間に朝ご飯。ベルギーらしく、ワッフル、ホットチョコ、スペキュロス。じつはコインロッカーに使う小銭がほしくて入ったのですが、結局小銭はできず…。
We had a breakfast while we waited for the train. Waffle, hot chocolate and speculoos, these are very Belgium. Honestly though we want small changes and got in here, we couldn't get them after all. |

 「金曜日広場」を通り過ぎると「大砲（気狂いフリート）」が。フラマン民話のの人物、悪女フリードにちなんで名付けられた気狂いフリートは中世の大砲です。この鉄製の射石砲は15世紀前半に作成されました。1452年のアウデナールデ包囲の際にゲントによって使われましたが、退却の際に防御側に奪われ、1578年にゲントに返還されました。
When we passed "Friday Market", we could see "Dulle Griet". The Dulle Griet (named after the Flemish folklore figure Dull Gret) is a medieval supergun. The wrought-iron bombard was constructed in the first half of the 15th century. In 1452, the bombard was employed by the city of Ghent in the siege of Oudenaarde, but fell into the hands of the defenders on the retreat and was only returned to Ghent in 1578. |

 大砲を見たら右側にあるレイエ川にかかる橋を渡ります。渡ると正面にゲントでいちばん古いお菓子屋さん「Temmerman」が正面に見えます。
We cross the bridge over the Leie river on the right side after we see the supergun. When we cross the bridge, we can see the oldest sweets shop in Ghent, "Temmerman" in front of us. |
