 「アール・ヌーボーの都」ブリュッセル。巨匠「ビクトール・オルタ」の作品を中心に見学をしました。ブリュッセルのガイドブックでアールヌーボーのページを担当していらっしゃる方が案内してくださいました。こちらは世界遺産「ソルヴェイ邸」。オルタの傑作です。
"The city of Art Nouveau", Brussels. I visited works of Victor Horta who was an undoubtedly the key European Art Nouveau architect mainly. The person in charge of an Art Nouveau page of Brussels' guide book guided us. It's "Hotel Solvay", the UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's considered as a masterpiece of Horta. |

 中を見るのには書面で予約。一回20人、1時間以内と厳しく制限されています。入場料は一人40ユーロ。高いなぁとおもったけれど、見る価値あります。
The reservation by the document is necessary for entrance. A visit includes a severe limit, for instance, the number of people to pour at a time is 20 people and visit time is leaa than 1 hour. The admission fee is 40 Euros per person. Though I thought it was expensive, it was worth seeing. |

 写真撮影が許されているのはこの階段下の玄関ホールのみ。それぞれの部屋もとてもすてきでした。
Taking pictures are allowed only at the entrance hall under the stairway. Every rooms were wonderful. |

 ハウスナンバーもアールヌーボーなのだー。建物の建設は1898年に始まり1900年に完成しました。家は今も個人所有財産です。
The house number is written in Art Nouveau style. The onstruction of the building was started in 1898 and completed in 1900. The house is still private property.

 タッセル邸は、オルタが手掛けた邸宅の中で最も古く1894年に建設されました。建築に、アール・ヌーボーを取り入れた世界初の作品です。
Hotel Tassel is generally considered as the oldest one of the building Horta designed and was built in 1894. It's the first building in the world as the true Art Nouveau style. |

 扉の横にある泥おとしもアールヌーボーなのだー。タッセル邸は現在、欧州食料情報理事会のオフィスとして利用されており、内部は一般公開されていません。
A mud scraper on the side of the entrance door is also Art Nouveau style. Hotel Tassel is currently a private office occupied by the European Food Information Council (EUFIC) and the interior is not accessible to the public. |

 チャンベルラーニ邸は1897年に建築家ポール・アンカルによって設計され1904年に建てられました。窓の格子は日本の影響だそうです。
The Hotel Ciamberlani was designed in 1897 by the architect Paul Hankar and built in 1904. I hear the lattice design of the window is affected by Japan. |

入場不可なんだけど、ガイドさんが交渉してくれて中を見ることができました。
It's the dwelling desined by Benjamin De Lestre and built in 1905. Though it's impossible to enter here, we could see the interior by the negotiatin of the guide. |

Though this has nothing to do with Art Nouveau style, I took a picture in spite of myself because tiles on the floor were wonderful. |

 屋根に突き出たところにフクロウがいます。それで、「フクロウの家」ね。1889年に建てられました。
The building owes its name to the two owls settled on the pinnacles of the facade. It was built in 1889. |

 1903年から1904年に建てられ、1965年までアノン家が住んでいました。その後、廃却され崩壊の危機にありました。1980年代に完全に修復され、現在は写真博物館として使われているそうです。
The building was built from 1903 to 1904 and was occupied by the Hannon family until 1965. After that it was abandoned and threatened with demolition. Entirely restored in the 1980s, I hear the photographic museum is housed in the building now. |

 世界遺産として登録されている4つの邸宅の中で最も新しいもので、オルタの自宅兼仕事場として、1898年から1901年にかけて建てられました。建物だけでなく、壁画やモザイク装飾などの内装、家具などのインテリアに至るまで、すべてオルタが設計しました。現在は「オルタ美術館」です。
It's the newest one of 4 dwellings which are listed on the world heritage list and was built between 1898 and 1901 as Horta's house and atelier. Horta designed not only the building but also wall paintings, interior such as the mosaic decoration and all furnitures. "The Horta Museum" is housed in the building now. |

We had a lunch at the restaurant used the building which was "a nail shop" long time ago. It's the suitable restaurant for a building sight-seeing. |

 バーカウンターの後ろの壁にはびっしりと小さな引き出しが並びます。サイズの違う釘をストックしていた引き出しなのだそうです。
There are a lot of small drawers in the wall behind the bar counter. I hear they were drawers which stocked nails of various sizes. |

 オルタの弟子ストロヴァン最高傑作といわれ、1901年から03年にかけて建てらています。左右に並ぶ新しい建物とは明らかに違う雰囲気。2010年から11年にかけて完全に修復されました。
It's considered as Strauven's, who was Victor Horta's bureau, most important building, built between 1901 and 1903. It has an absolutely different atmosphere compare with the new buildings which is arranged right and left. It is completely restored between 2010 and 2011. |

 今はガス会社のオフィスとして使われています。ガイドさんが交渉して中を見せてもらえることになりました。写真は撮れませんでしたがステンドグラスや美しい調度品も保存されていてとてもすてきでした。一日で世界遺産に登録されているオルタの作品をすべて見ることができました。
The Federation of the Gas Industry buys in 1950 the Hotel van Eetvelde to transform it into offices. As a result of the guide's negotiation, we could see the interior. Though it was prohibited to take photos in the interior, stained glasses and beautiful furnitures were preserved and all of them were wonderful. We could visit all Horta's works which was listed on the World Heritage Site in one day. |
