 一人でアントワープに出かけました。お昼前に駅に着いて開店したばかりの"Japanese noodle bar UMAMIDO" へ。12時半近いと言うのに一人もお客様はいない‥帰るまで私一人。ラーメンも今ひとつ。
I went to Antwerp alone. I arrived at the station before noon and went to "Japanese noodle bar UMAMIDO" which just opened. Though it was close to half past to twelve, there were no customers except me. I was an only customer until I got out. A ramen was not good. |

 マカロンが有名な「ラデュレ」で当然マカロンを購入。日本だと300円ぐらいかなぁ。こちらでも1.9ユーロ。
Of course I bought macarons at "Laduree" which was famous for a macaron. I guess one piece is about 300 yen in Japan. It's 1.9 euro here. |

 「聖パウルス教会」
アントワープで一番お気に入りの教会。白と黒を基調にした祭壇が印象的。教会は1571年に完成し聖別されました。1584年のパルマ公のアントワープ包囲の後、修道院の再建は1605年から16年に間に始まり、1662年に完成しました。

It's my most favorite church in Antwerp. An altar based on white and black is impressive. The church was completed and dedicated in 1571. After, in 1584 Farnese laid siege to Antwerp, the initial phase of the rebuilding of the monastery was undertaken between 1605 and 1616 and reconstruction was completed in 1662. |

 「聖パウルス教会」
絵画がたくさん並んだ美術館のような教会です。1830年のベルギー革命の後、10日戦争の際、オランダ軍はアントワープを砲撃し、教会は損害を受け17世紀のステンドグラスはすべて破壊されました。

It's a church which has a lot of paintings such as the art museum. During the Ten Days' Campaign undertaken by the Dutch in 1830 after the Belgian Revolution, a Dutch garrison bombarded Antwerp. The church was damaged and all the 17th century stained glass windows were destroyed. |

 「聖パウルス教会」
この教会が開いているのは4月から10月までの午後2時から5時まで。これで春まで見られないんだなぁ。日本人がいっぱいのアントワープの中で日本人がほとんど訪れないとても静かでいい教会です。

This church is open from 2:00 to 5:00 in the afternoon from April to October. I can't see it until spring. It's a calm and beautiful church which only a few Japanese visit in Antwerp where a lot of Japanese visit. |
