以前はいいイメージがなく一般的に大阪で最も危険なエリアだという印象だったけど、今は健全な観光地に。たぶん人生二回目の「新世界」界隈。この地域は1912年に南半分をニューヨーク、北半分をパリをモデルとして造られました。

Though Shinsekai had only negative image and was commonly held reputation as Osaka's most dangerous area before, it becomes a good clean tourist spot today. Probably it's my second visit of the old neighbourhood. The neighbourhood was created in 1912 with New York as a model for its southern half and Paris for its northern half. |

串カツ屋さん。ソースとキャベツ。お客さんは串カツを噛んだ後、共通のソース入れにつけることを禁止されています。その代わりにテーブル上のキャベツの葉を使ってソースをすくい串カツに注ぐことはできます。たぶん人生2回目の串カツ屋さん。
"Shinsekai"
A kushikatsu restaurant. Sauce and cabbage. Customers are banned to dip food into the shared sauce pot after you bite them. Instead, you will use a slice of cabbage on your table and scoop up sauce from the pot and pour it on your share of kushikatsu. Probably it's my second visit of a kushikatsu restaurant. |

 再び「通天閣」まで戻ってきました。高さは103mで主展望台は91mの高さにあります。現在の塔は2代目でエッフェル塔と凱旋門を模した初代の塔は1912年に建てられました。1943年の火事で大きく損傷し、修理されることなく取り壊され鉄材は戦争に活用されました。新しい8面体の塔は1956年にオープンしました。
I came back to "Tsutenkaku". Its total height is 103 m, the main observation deck is at a height of 91 m. The current tower is the second to occupy the site. The original tower, patterned after the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe, was built in 1912. The original structure suffered a fire in 1943 which severely damaged it, and rather than repair the structure, it was disassembled and the steel used for the war effort. The new, eight-sided structure was opened in 1956. |

 京都駅から石橋に移動です。京都タワーは展望塔です。この鉄塔は京都で一番高い建造物で展望台まで100m、天辺までは131mあります。建設は1963年に旧京都中央郵便局のあった場所で始まり、1964年の終りに完成しました。

 「赤坂迎賓館」の見学へ行ってきました。中の写真が撮れなくて残念でした。元々この宮殿は1909年に皇太子用の宮殿（東宮御所）として建てられました。今日、宮殿は日本政府により海外高官訪問の際の宿舎として使われています。
I visited "Akasaka Palace". Unfortunately the inside of the palace prohibited photography. The palace was originally built as the Imperial Palace for the Crown Prince (Togu gosho) in 1909.  「峠の釜めし」
実はこの日のお夕飯、ホテルの部屋ですませようとコンビニでこれを買っていましたが、最終日の夜にコンビニ弁当では寂しいと思いなおしてレストランへ行きました。

Honestly speaking, I bought it as a dinner at a convenience store and intended to eat in the room. However I changed my mind because the convenience store meal wasn't worthy of the fainal day's dinner. Therefore I went to the restaurant. |

かにのほぐし身のサラダ、おいしかったです。

和牛のロール仕立て 椎茸とエシャロットの醤油風味ソース。
お料理は洋食を選びましたが、パンではなく、ご飯セットをお願いしました。

Rolled wagyu beef with shiitake mushroom and shallot soy-based sauce. I ordered the western style main dish, but chose rice, miso soup and Japanese pickles, not bread. |

 このお料理、和牛を椎茸と醤油で煮てあるので…すき焼き風の味付けでした。ご飯によく合うお味でした。
This dish was stewed beef with shiitake mushroom and soy-sauce. It means this dish has a sukiyaki taste. It matched a rice very much. |

 ランチはれんこんのきんぴらと鰤の照り焼き。これを食べたらベルギーに到着です。
みなさんがいろいろ考えてくださってたくさんおいしいモノをいただきました。楽しい一時帰国になりました。ありがとうございました。
The lunch was simmered daikon radish and lotus root in soy-based sauce, and simmered yellowtail in soy-based sauce. After I have them, I will arrive at Belgium soon.
Thanks to everyone, I was able to enjoy a lot of nice meals. It was a fun return home. I greatly appreciate your kindness. |
