 「聖バーフ大聖堂」
長くかかっていた修復が終わって覆いがとれました。ここには宗教画の傑作「神秘の仔羊」があります。

The long restoration was finished and the cover was removed. There is "Adoration of the Mystic Lamb" which is one of the masterpieces of the religious pictures. |

 「ベギン会院」
世界遺産の「ベギン会院」がゲントにもあります。ここだけ時間が止まってしまったような空間です。街の中心の聖エリザベス・ベギン会の廃却に伴い1873年から74年にかけて建てられました。

There is "a beguinage" of the World Heritage site also in Ghent. I feel that time stopped here. It was built between 1873 and 1874 on the abandonment of the Old Saint Elisabeth Beguinage in the city centre. |

 「ベギン会院」
少し市街地から距離があるのでなかなか来られずにいました。今回が初めてです。この教会は1875年9月28日にオープンしました。

I couldn't come here because it is located in the outside the centre of the town of Ghent. This is the first visit. Its church was opened on 28 September, 1875. |

最後のベギン会修道女は2003年1月と8月に亡くなり、建物は徐々に他の目的、特に慈善事業に使われるようになっています。

 「ベギン会院」
フランドル地方のベギン会修道院は、合計13件世界遺産として登録されています。どこの修道院も一歩敷地野中にはいると静かで落ち着いた空気が流れています。ゲントの修道院は住宅街の中にあり、塀の外は全くちがう雰囲気です。

13 Flemish beguinages are now listed by UNESCO as World Heritage. Once we step inside, we feel calm and quiet atmosphere in every beguinages. Beguinages of Ghent is located in the residential street and there is a completely different atmosphere on the outside of the walls. |
