週末の「古城ホテル」。途中、「コブレンツ」に寄りました。街の広場ではクリスマスマーケットの準備が進んでいました。クリスマス用の樅の木も山積み。

We went to a castle hotel on the weekend. We stopped at "Koblenz" on the way. The preparations for Christmas market were carried out in the town square. Fir trees for Christmas also had become a pile. |

ドイツ帝国初代皇帝であるヴィルヘルム1世の騎馬像です。第二次世界大戦の時、アメリカ軍に破壊されましたが1993年になって再建されました。

It's the equestrian statue of the first German Emperor William I of Germany. During World War II, the statue was destroyed by US artillery and was restored in 1993. |

ライン川をはさんでエーレンブライトシュタイン要塞が見えます。ヨーロッパで第二番目に大きな保存された要塞で、現在の姿になったのは1817年から1827年の間でした。

ロープウェイに乗って要塞までいきます。このロープウェイは要塞が連邦ガーデンショー2011の会場だった時に作られました。

最後の大司教とトリアー選帝侯であったクレメンツ王子の館。ここまで来たところで携帯の電池が無くなった！あてにしていた地図がなくなり駐車場を探して大慌て！

 無事ホテルに到着。ザンクト・ゴアーにあるロマンティック ホテル シュロス ラインフェルスです。ライン川を見下ろす丘の上にたつ古城ホテルでした。もちろん部屋からはライン川が見えます。
We arrived at the hotel without accidents. It was Romantik Hotel Schloss Rheinfels at St. Goar. It was an old castle hotel on the hill which looked down at the Rhine. Of course we could see the Rhine from our room. |

 本当はお城を見たかったのだけれど、冬期期間は閉鎖中。このあたり一帯は世界遺産に登録されている古城街道なのでまた季節が良くなったら再訪することにしました。
Actually we wanted to see the castle, but it was closed during a winter. This neighborhood is registered to the World Heritage Sites. Therefore we will come here again in a good season. |

 帰りにデュッセルドルフに立ち寄って行列のできるラーメン屋さんで昼食。いたってふつーのラーメンです。
We stopped at Dusseldorf and had a lunch at the ramen shop often hosts a line of people waiting. It was an ordinary ramen extremely. |

ロープウェイのチケット。往復で9ユーロ。城壁に入るのに6ユーロ。合わせて買うと11.８ユーロでした。
