 建物すぐ横「マーキュリーの池」
元々はローマ時代の水路を使って集められた水によるプールで、水は再利用されて木に撒かれました。1575年に池になりました。

 庭に地下へ続く入り口があり、入ってみると「ドーニャ・マリア・デ・バディーリャの浴槽」と呼ばれる雨水をためる貯水施設がありました。とても幻想的です。名前はペドロ1世 (カスティーリャ王)の妻であったマリア・デ・バディーリャから付けられました。
There is a entrance, which leads to the under the Patio, in the garden and we entered there. There is rainwater tanks called "Baths of Lady Maria de Padilla". It is very whimsical. The baths are named for Maria de Padilla who was the mistress of Peter the Cruel. |

 当然こちらも長蛇の列。並んでいるときに「ヒラルダ」を見ることができました。これが塔の一番上にあって風を受けるとこの像が回転します。重さ1,288キロもあるらしい。「ヒラルダ」とは「風見」という意味です。

Pig-skin snack. Deep fried pig-skin. A mix of Cuajada (Traditional Spanish dessert). A mix of Crema catalana. Cookies. |

 スペインワインとスペインのスパークリングワイン、カヴァ。スペインのオリーブオイルは最高級。その中でも一番高いのを買いました。ワインより高いよ。アリオリは、ニンニク風味のマヨネーズ。ゆでたポテトと和えるとおいしい。オリーブとイベリコ豚の生ハム。
Spanish wine and sparkling wine, cava. Spanish olive oil is the highest grade. I bought the most expensive one in them. It's more expensive than wine. Alioli is mayonnaise with garlic flavour. It's very nice when we dress boiled potatoes with it. Canned olives and raw ham of Iberico pork. |
