 デュッセルドルフで1泊してマーストリヒトへ。
マーストリヒトはオランダの南の端、ベルギー国境近くの街です。「フライトホフ広場」の地下にある駐車場に車を停めて町歩きへ。
We stayed one night at Dusseldorf and went to Maastricht.
Maastricht is a town in the southern end of the Netherlands and near Belgian border. We parked a car at the underground parking lot of "Vrijthof" and walked around the town. |

入り口を探してぐるりとまわってきました。聖セルファースの墓のある聖セルファース教会の地下墓室は巡礼者の集まる場所となっています。教会には重要な宝物もあります。

現在の教会は聖セルファースの墓のある場所に建てられた多分4番目の教会です。オランダで最も古い教会の一つ。地下はを6世紀に作り始め、主要部分は11世紀から15世紀にかけて建てられました。

 「聖母教会」
11世紀の教会です。教会に隣接した小さなゴシックの礼拝堂には15世紀の聖母マリア像があり、たくさんのろうそくが立てられて幻想的な雰囲気でした。写真撮影できず、外観のみです。

 「Grand Cafe' D'n Ingel」でランチ。マーストリヒトの郷土料理「zuurvlees」を食べました。牛肉のワイン煮です。ちょっと酸味があるビーフシチューでした。
