 夏休み、スペインへ行ってきました。最近よくお世話になる「ブラッセル・エアー」。よく遅れます。水1杯のサービスもありません・・・。乗って1時間50分でマドリッド到着。

到着後まずは「王宮」へ。事前にチケットを買っていなければこの行列。まったく列が動かず、途中脱落していく人もちらほら。団体客が入ると個人客は待たなければならず、列も動かないのです。団体客が落ち着くまでひたすら待ちます。

After arrival, for a start, we went to the royal palace. If we had not bought tickets before, we had to form a line like this. This line didn't advance at all and some people fell off on the way. When a party of tourists entered, individual tourist had to wait and therefore the line didn't advance. We waited simply until the party left. |

王宮前広場。中は撮影ができません。残念！ 今、ここには実際に国王一家はお住まいではなく、公式行事などに使われるだけなのだそうです。左にスペイン国旗、右にもう一つ旗が揚げられれば国王が王宮内にいて行事が行われているしるしなのだそうです。

「王宮」と広場を挟んで向かい合っています。大聖堂の建築は1879年に始まりました。しかしスペイン内戦で建築は完全に止まり、1950年まで計画は放棄されました。大聖堂は1993年法王ヨハネ・パウロ2世に聖別されるまで完成しませんでした。

広場の中央にはスペインの作家、詩人、脚本家であるミゲル・デ・セルバンテスの記念碑があります。碑のほとんどは1925年から30年の間に建てられ、1956年から57年にかけて完成しました。像の後ろ左側にあるビルは「マドリッド・タワービル」。1957年まではスペイン一の高さでした。

 一回目の「スペイン広場」。
「ドン・キホーテとサンチョ・パンサ」隠れてるやん・・・碑の隣にはドン・キホーテの「真実の愛」の彫像があります。ひとつは素朴な百姓女アルドンサ・ロレンソ、もう一つは想像上の美人ドゥルシネーア・デル・トボーソです。

 「オリエンテ広場」
「王宮」東横の広場で、そのためオリエンテ＝東広場と呼ばれています。騎馬像はフィリプ4世で1843年にイザベル2世の命令で設置されました。広場には20体の王（5体は西ゴートの王、15体はレコンキスタを行った1キリスト教の王）の彫刻があります。

美術館の「ゴヤ門」。入口は三か所ありますが、当日券はゴヤの像があるここで購入です。購入の際常設展のみ見学、常設展と期間特別展の両方見学と並ぶ列がわかれるのですが、入場料金は１４ユーロと変わりませんし、窓口でも常設展のみか特別展も見るのかと聞かれます。列を分ける意味がわかんない・・

The Goya gate of the museum. Though there are three entrance, we must buy the tickets sold on the day here with the statue of Goya. When we buy tickets, a line is divided into 2, one is to observe only the permanent exhibition, another is to observe the permanent exhibition and the period temporary exhibition. However the price is same as 14 euro both and we are asked which we would like to observe also at the ticket window again. I can't understand why we must make a line. |

It's next to "Museo del Prado". It is a Roman Catholic church from the early 16th-century. The first major restoration was performed during the reign of Isabel II of Spain, between 1848 and 1859. The second restoration, 1879 to 1883, created the building as a parish church. The stairway that faces the street, was constructed in 1906 on the occasion of the wedding of King Alfonso XIII to provide more impressive access to the church. |

 バレンシア・オレンジのフレッシュジュース。注文するとオレンジを放り込んでくれます。しぼりたて、まじりっけなし。（冷えてない・・）ベルギーにもあるけど、こちらは安い！！
Juice of Valencia orange. Orange is throwed in every each order. Fresh and no other ingredients. (But not cold). Though we can have it also in Belgium, it's cheap here. |

 「セゴビア・アルカサル」
白雪姫のお城のモデルです。この特徴あるアルカサルへの最初の言及は1120年ですが、考古学的にはこの場所はローマ時代に砦として一度使われた形跡があります。アルカサルは中世を通じてカスティーリャ王家のお気に入りの住居のひとつで、王国の重要な守備要塞でした。この時代に現在の建物の大部分が建てられ、トラスタマラ家によって宮殿は大きく拡張されました。

 「マヨール広場」横にある「カテドラル」。
「カテドラルの貴婦人」と呼ばれる優雅さ。このがっしりとしたカテドラルは1525年から1577年にかけて後期ゴシック様式で建てられました。1614年からある現在の石の尖塔は雷雨によって起きた大火事の後で建てられました。中には幼児の墓があります。これは乳母の手から滑り落ちて亡くなったエンリケ２世の子、ペドロの墓で、乳母はそのあとを追って城から身を投げたそうです。
"Segovia Cathedral" is next to the "Plaza Mayor".
It is called "The lady of cathedral" because of its beauty. The massive cathedral was built between 1525-1577 in a late Gothic style. The current stone spire crowning the tower, dating from 1614, was erected after a major fire caused by a thunderstorm. There is a grave of a infant in it. This is the grave of Pedro who was child of Enrique II and died by sliding from the hand of the nurse. it is said the nurse throwed the body from a castle to take responsibility |

 歩いていると展望台があるらしいのだけれど、入口はしまっているし・・よく見たら案内所でお金を払うらしい。右側が観光案内所。
Thoug we found the viewing platform during walking, the entrance was closed. If we looked well, we must pay the fee at the bureau. The right side is the information office. |

 観光案内所も開いてんだか閉まってるんだかわかんなかったけど、入ってみると人がいました。一人１ユーロはらうと入口の暗証番号をメモに書いてくれました。自分で開けるらしいです。城壁の一部が展望台になっています。「アルカサル」も見えます。
Though we were not sure if the information office was open or not, we could find a person there. If we pay 5 euro per person, he gives us pin cord of entrance. It seems to be a system opening out by oneself. A part of the castle wall is the viewing platform. We can see also "Alcazar". |

かつてはユダヤ人が暮らしていた家です。今は芸術学校として使われています。

 城壁で囲まれた街はどこも細い路地が入り組んでいてそれがとても魅力的です。
Narrow ways are tangled evrywhere in the town surrounded by the castle wall and it's very attractive to me. |

皮はパリパリ、中はジューシー。一度は食べておきたかった。
Well-known food in Segovia "A roast piglet". The skin is crispy, but the meat is juicy. I wanted to eat it once. |

The dessert was served. In fact we shared a course for one person by two because the amount is large. Even so, we were full. |

 直線だけでなく、曲がっているところもあるし、水が流れているのだから傾斜もついているんだよなー。石は積んであるだけなんだよなー。すごいよね。
There are not only the straight lines but also the corners and also a slant, because water flows. It's the building that stones are only piled up. This is amazing. |

 ブラジルVSコロンビア戦をバルでピンチョス、タパスを食べながら観戦！この試合でブラジルのネイマールは骨折し、その後のブラジルは惨憺たるありさまでした・・・
We watched the game of Brazil vs. Colombia with eating pinchos and tapas in baru. Neymar was broke a bone in this game and Brazil in the next game was a wretched state. |

 「モルシージャ」（血入りソーセージ）
「タパス」とは小皿料理という意味。ホコリなどが入るのを避けるために、蓋をしていて、それからタパ（蓋）→小皿→小皿料理→複数形になってタパス、と変化したのだそうです。

A trademark of the restaurant represents picking up a toothpick of pincho. The restaurant calculates a rate by counting a toothpick. It's like a deep-fried skewers bar in Osaka. |
