 「オランジュリー」
18世紀には冬期間オレンジ用の温室としてつかわれました。第2次世界大戦時には国有調度品の一部がここに保管されました。その中には「モナ・リザ」もあったと言われています。現在はカフェとしてつかわれています。

 15世紀のGaillard城です。残念ながら期間限定で開けられるお城のようでした。きれいで興味深い庭があるので見られなくて非常に残念でした。

 今から「北の塔」にのぼります。15世紀末に完成したものの1506年に崩壊した塔は1542年に再建されました。建築資金の寄付を得るため四季節の断食が免除されていたことから「バターの塔」と呼ばれています。
We are going to climb the north tower from now on. The tower which was completed in the end of the 15th century, but collapsed in 1506, was rebuilt in 1542. It is known as the Tour de Beurre (Butter Tower), since it was funded by offering donors an exemption from fasting during Lent. |

 「内陣」
全体が石を切り出してつくられています。概してこの大聖堂は他の同様施設に比べユグノー戦争でも革命でも非常に少ない損害しか受けていません。場所のおかげで両大戦の損害からも比較的安全でした。

 デザート。お米をミルクで煮てあります。バニラの甘い香りがたまらない！いちごを入れて混ぜて食べます。とても美味しいデザートでした。
The dessert which boiled rice with milk. Sweet aroma of vanilla was absolutely wonderful. Strawberry and it were mixed to eat. It was a nice dessert. |

 「ジャック・クール」(1395-1456)は地中海貿易によって富を得て、1436年シャルル７世に召還されて財政官になりました。彼が自らの社会的威光を示すために建てたのがこの邸宅です。1450年頃完成しました。
Jacques Coeur(1395-1456) becomes rich by Mediterranean trade and was summoned to Paris by Charles VII, and made master of the mint in 1436. He built this grand maison to show his social influence. Finished in about 1450. |

 1451年、ジャック・クールの逮捕により一旦は王に押収されました。その後何度も所有主を変え、最後の個人所有者がブールジュ市に売却しました。
The palace was confiscated once by King in 1451 because of Jacques Coeur's arrest. After that, owners changed many times and the last private owner sold it to Bourges. |
