 オランダにある「デ・ハール城」へ行ってきました。現在の建物は1892年のものです。現在の場所にあった城の最も古い歴史上の記録は1391年に遡ります。
We visited "De Haar Castle" in the Netherlands. The current buildings date from 1892. The oldest historical record of a building at the location of the current castle dates to 1391. |

 門をくぐってお堀を渡ります。お城は1482年と1536年に火事で焼けています。城主が子供を残さず亡くなった1641年以降、城は徐々に廃墟と化していきました。
We passed through the agte and crossed the moal. The old castle was burned down by a fire in 1482 and 1536. After 1641, when the lord of the castle died childless, the castle seems to have gradually fallen into ruins. |

 お堀を渡ると広場にでました。カフェやらチケット売り場やらがあります。ここでチケットを購入。お城と教会を見るのに18.5ユーロもしたー。
When we crossed the moat, we arrived at a small square. There are a cafe and a ticket office in the square. We bought an admission ticket here. Surprisingly the admission fee of the castle and the chapel was 18.5 Euros. |

 チケットを買って入場しました。お庭の向こうにお城がどどーん。1887年、廃墟の城の相続人Etienne van Zuylen van Nijeveltはロスチャイルド家のHelene de Rothschildと結婚しました。ロスチャイルド家の全面的財政支援で夫妻は城の再建に着手しました。
We bought a ticket and enter in there. There is the castle beyond the garden. In 1887, the inheritor of the castle-ruins, Etienne van Zuylen van Nijevelt, married Helene de Rothschild, of the Rothschild family. Fully financed by the Rothschilds, the couple set about rebuilding the castle from its ruins.

 お城をぐるりと外側からまわるようにお堀沿いに歩いて…。再建は20年かかりました（1892年から1912年）城には200の部屋と30のバスルームがありますが、その内の1階部分のごく一部が見学のために一般公開されました。
We walked along the moat like making the circuit of the castle from the outside. The restoration took 20 years (from 1892 to 1912). The castle has 200 rooms and 30 bathrooms, of which only a small number on the ground floor have been opened to be viewed by the public. |

 お城の中へ。2000年にVan Zuylen van Nyevelt家は城と庭の所有権をデ・ハール城基金へ譲渡しました。しかし家族は城を1年に1ヶ月利用する権利は残しました。
We got into the castle. In 2000, the family Van Zuylen van Nyevelt passed ownership of the castle and the gardens to the foundation Kasteel de Haar. However, the family retained the right to spend one month per year in the castle. |

 入り口から振り返ると教会が見えます。城と庭の大規模修復計画が2001年に始まり2011年に完成しました。
When we look back st the entrance, we can see the chapel. An extensive restoration programme of the castle and the gardens was initiated in 2001 and was completed in 2011. |

 ダイニングルーム。今も年一回は親族が集まり、ここで食事をとるのだそうです。そのときはお城の公開はありません。
The dinning room. Even now the family Van Zuylen van Nyevelt gathers once a year and have a meal here. The castle is closed at that time. |

まだ寒いので花壇には花がなくてちょっと寂しい。
