ゴッホの特別展が開催されている美術館や「ゴッホの家」をめぐりました。

 モンスは2015年に欧州文化首都になりました。そのため今、モンス2015というお祭りが開かれています。たくさんのコンサートや美術イベントが開かれ、街中にオブジェや彫刻が立っています。これはそのひとつ "Spread Your Wings"。
Mons is the European Capital of Culture in 2015. Therefore the festival called Mons 2015 is held now and we can see a lot of concert and artical events here. A lot of sculpture and objets d'art stand everywhere of the town. It's one of them "Spread Your Wings". |

Wikiによれば2007年に開設され、その時からすでに水漏れや供給の安定性の問題が出ていたとのことですが、それがこの写真の建物のことを言っているのかよくわかりません。

According to Wiki, opened in May 2007, all buildings already present many problems of water seepage and stability. However I'm not sure what is mentioned in Wiki is as same as this one. |

 「ゴッホの家」
ゴッホは1880年の8月から10月までここに住んでいました。腐敗によってこの家はほとんど朽ち果てかけていましたが、1972年から75年にかけてボランティアグループによって廃墟になることから免れ、ツーリスト・オフィスとして使われました。最近の修復（2005年から2007年）により、新たな見学コースで見学者を迎え入れています。
"Maison Van Gogh"
Van Gogh lived here from August to October 1880. It was nearly disappeared through decay and was rescued from ruin by a group of volunteers from 1972 to 1975 and taken up by the Tourist Office. After the recent restoration work (2005-2007), the site welcomes visitors in a new course design. |
