 「ロンプレ」
「白い水(l’Eau Blanche)」と呼ばれる川沿いにある小さな村です。この村は1186年に初めて記録に現れます。1340年にフランス軍によって焼かれました。
"Lompret"
This small village is located along the river called "White Water (l’Eau Blanche)". This village was mentioned for the first time in 1186. Lompret was burnt by the French in 1340. |

 川を渡ってネオ・ゴシック様式の聖ニコラス教会（1879年に建設）まで行ってみました。
We crossed the river and went to the Saint-Nicolas church built in neo-Gothic style (Built in 1879). |

 案内板はありませんでしたが、きっとここにお城があったのだと思います。残念ながら城は1640年に破壊されました。かって城は水に囲まれていました。狭間胸壁のある小塔を含む古い建物の一部は少なくとも15世紀のものです。
Though there is a guide board, we believe there was a castle here. Unfortunately it was destroyed in 1640. The castle was once surrounded by water. Some parts of the old buildings, including a turret with battlements, date back to at least the 15th century.

St-Martin and St. John of Compostela churches (in 16th-19th centuries) is the center of the village.

 「ファニョル城」
12世紀に建てられましたが、現在は廃墟となっています。1554年8月20日に破壊され、1659年についに廃城となりました。
"Fagnolle Castle"
It was constructed in the 12th century, and is now ruined. It was destroyed on August 20, 1554 and finally abandoned in 1659. |

 城の横にある公園を歩いてみることに。お城がよく見えます。

 公園の中を通って行くと鉄道駅に着きました。駅舎もなにもない駅です！

 駅から再び丘の上の教会まで。今度は公園ではなく、村のなかの道を歩きます。
We were walking to the church on the hill again from the station. We were walking not in the park, but the street in the village this time. |

 村はずれまで歩くと「アマル公爵の城」を反対側から見ることができました。
When we walked to the end of the village, we could see the opposite side of "the castle of the Lords of Hamal". |

 18世紀から19世紀に建てられた素朴な家が並ぶ小さな村でした。今日、4つの村をまわり、24村のうち10の村をまわったことになります。あと14！
There are dozens of simple houses built in the 18th and 19th century in the small village. Today we visited 4 villages and have visited 10 villages out of 24. The rest is 14. |

 村めぐりの帰りに新しくできた日本食屋さん（もどき）に行ってみました。天ぷら。衣はちょっと甘くて、天つゆは全くの別物。天ぷらの下にひかれたレースペーパーに努力の跡をみました。
We stopped by new Japanese-restaurant-like for a return of the visiting villages. Tempura. A batter coating is sweet a little and thin dipping sauce for tempura is totally different from Japanese one. I watched the trace of the effort on a lace paper under tempura. |

 巻き寿司盛り合わせ。
軍艦はフォアグラ寿司。こういう店でよく出る太巻きの天ぷらもありました。
Assorted rolled sushi.
Ship roll is sushi with foir gras. Tempura of thick rolled sushi which is familiar in such a restaurant is included in the dish. |
