 飛行機を待ってる時に「国会議事堂見学に行こう！」と突然思い立ってチケットを購入。これも事前に買っておかなければなかなか手に入らないそうです。ホテルからのんびり歩いて国会議事堂へ。「ドナウ川」に向かって並んでいる靴のオブジェ。
When we waited for the flight, we decided to go to see the "Hungarian Parliament Building" suddenly and bought tickets. I heard it was very difficult to get them if we didn't buy them beforehand. We went to Parliament Building by walking leisurely. They are Art objects of shoes forming a line towards "the Danube".

ビジターセンターまで行きます。この議事堂は1885年に建設が始まり、1896年には建国1000年祭が開始され、1904年に完成しています。国会議事堂の建設にはおよそ1000人が従事し、4000万個のレンガ、50万の宝石と40kgの金が使われました。

降りたところがビジターセンター。見学はツアー形式で一回５０人。英語のツアーに申込み。日本語ツアーはないので日本人はほぼ英語ツアー。今回も日本人率１割です。

日本の国会議事堂もすごいなぁと思ってみてたけどこちらは金ぴか。すごいです。内外の壁には、全部で242体の彫刻が施されています。ファサードの上部には、歴代のハンガリー統治者、トランシルヴァニアの統治者、及び有名な軍人たちの彫像があります。

 第2次世界大戦の記念塔。共産国時代の名残だと思う。でもヨーロッパ歩いて思うのは歴史における第1次大戦の重み。どっちかと言えば欧州にとっては第1次大戦の方が重要で２次大戦はそのパート2、続編みたいな感じ。１次大戦にまともに参加していない日本が2次大戦に割り込んできたことはこちらの人からすると理解不能だと思います。

ハンガリーはもともとアジア系のマジャール人の国家なのでユダヤ人迫害はあまりありませんでした。２次大戦中の1944年にドイツに国土が占領されてから迫害が始まり、43万人以上のユダヤ人がアウシュビッツに送られました。実は最初の写真の靴もあそこでユダヤ人が射殺されドナウ川に投げ込まれた歴史を忘れないためにあります。

 ホテルの「ミュージック・ホール」。小さなホテルですが、歴史はあるらしくすてきな部屋が残っています。夕方４時から５時まで無料でコーヒーのサービスがありました。その辺のカフェへいくよりずっとゆっくり優雅に過ごせます。
It's music hall of the hotel. Though it's a small hotel, it seems that it has a history. There are beautiful rooms. This hotel serves coffe for free from 4 to 5 in the evening. We can relax here more elegantly than the normal cafe. |

 とんでもなくおいしいワイン。ハンガリーといえば世界３大ワインと言われているトカイワインは外せません。このレストランは料理もさることながらワインが抜群。しかもブラッセルに比べ安い！
Extremely delicious wine. Since we were in Hungary, There was not the choice unless we drink the Tokay wine which is said to be three major wine of the world. The food of this restaurant is very delicious, but wine was better. And it was cheaper than Brussels. |

この鎖橋の構造は複雑で難しいのですが1914年に改修されたときにも、第二次世界大戦中にドイツ軍によって破壊され、建設百周年に当たる1949年に再建されたときにも、チェーン吊橋の構造が堅持されて今に至り、「鎖橋」の名前はこの構造に由来するとも言われています。
